Cadillac Mountain in Acadia, Maine is the first place in the US to see the sun every morning. This trip was part of the New England adventures that I embarked on with Shyam and his family around Christmas-time last year. We stayed just outside of a town called Bar Harbor, and had planned to get to Cadillac early in the morning to greet the sunrise. However, the first photo is the sight that I saw from our hotel room when I woke up. We knew we already missed the prime sunrise hour at Cadillac. The area was beautiful nonetheless…
